Abstract: Hypertoric varieties are a hyperkahler analogue of toric varieties which arise frequently in geometric representation theory. I will explain how the virtual count of twisted quasimaps to a hypertoric variety can be reformulated as a kind of trace on a periodized symplectically dual hypertoric.
